INFJ – Characteristics of the INFJs, The World’s Rarest Personality Type: Advocates
Only 2% percent of the population worldwide has the personality type known as the INFJs or the Advocates. Famous Advocates include Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, and Mother Teresa. Are you one of them? Take a look at the 13 main traits of an INFJ and find out all that apply to you!
1. You are future conscious
People with INFJ personality aren’t concerned with trivial issues. Advocates always look at the bigger picture and don’t get disheartened by challenges. If something doesn’t give them the desired results, they’ll find another way to make it work.
2. You are hardworking
If you’re an INFJ, you won’t shy away from hard work. You know that if you have to achieve something in life, then you have to work for it because nothing comes for free. Giving your 100% is your most defining trait.
3. You believe in gut feeling
Advocates are highly intuitive individuals who trust their gut feelings. As an INFJ, you can tell if something is working out or not for you. You also know when something is about to go down in your life.
4. You seek the truth
You believe in the mystery of the universe and love to engage yourself with the cosmos. You try to find out a deeper meaning in the universal patterns.
5. You prefer small groups of people
You don’t like to engage with big groups of people. Also, if someone doesn’t agree with you or put you in conflict, you might cut them out of your life.
6. You are empathetic
You are incredibly generous towards others and would comfort your loved ones on their bad days. You are always there to provide a shoulder to lean on and a listening ear. People can count on you for emotional support!
7. You are people readers
Along with high emotional energy, you can also read people by observing them. You can see through people’s intentions which make you aware of any malevolent person in your social circle.
8. You are a loner
You often feel lonely because you are not like the rest of the people. You like hanging out by yourself in a room full of people sometimes.
9. Contradictions are inherent in you
You can go between the two extremes very quickly and suddenly. Their INFJ personality is the reason behind your contradictory nature.
10. You believe in all or nothing
You believe in quality over quantity and if you cannot give your best then you may as well not give anything at all.
11. You can make connections
You are good, very good actually, at making connections. You connect the dots, and mostly you are right. If somebody is having trouble figuring something out, they’d better seek help from an INFJ person.
12. You love writing
INFJ people mostly love writing over any other thing. You dislike talking too much and rather spend your time writing what you want. It’s a great way to bring yourself some moments of peace.
13. You’re creative
As Advocates love spending time by themselves, INFJs will always find something that will boost their creativity. If you are one of them, you’re probably a creative person with a lot of ideas!
